Just one question to the 'Jan Ugahi Team'. Something that Margao-based journalist, Joaquim Gracias of Gomantak Times also questioned them on at yesterday's press conference. According to information provided by the NGO itself they were tracking the Italian paedophile for two years. * Why was he not taken to task in the past two years? * Why was it that the police and the NGOs waited till a 10-year-old innocent was raped before taking action? * How many more paedophiles is Jan Ugahi aware of but not provided information to the police? * Doesn't witholding info from the police for two years mean indirectly abetting the crime and its perpetrator no matter how good the motives? * Is waiting for a child to be raped the right method for putting a paedophile behind bars? * Isn't prevention better than cure? Just a few questions that came to my mind while following the story. I look forward to some credible answers. Warm regards Reuven Proena
