Here is one explanation given to me by an "educated" man. This is a true story.
He said that AIDS virus got into humans first in Africa because Africans were fond of having sex with monkeys.
Let me tell you that he was deadly serious.
I explained that I was brought up in Africa and had never heard of this before. When I said his theory was incredulous, he went to protest that the story is true. One reason, he said, is that African men have a very high libido and that their women folk find it difficult to satisfy them.
I asked him if had ever visited Africa. He said no. He was born and educated in Engalnd and emigrated to Canada. Owns a second home in Florida. He visted Australia once. That was the extent of his worldly travels.
It is not only on Goanet that one has to put up with ridiculous viewpoints.
