Could you explain why US citizens of Indian origin have to apply for visas and get clearance form Islamabad before they land in Pakistan: whereas US citizens of other nationalalities can get visas at the port of entry in Pakistan.
The answer to this question is also the answer to your question. It is a case of reciprocity.

Can anyone explain why it is difficult now for US citizens, who formerly held Pakistani passports to obtain tourist visas to India? There was no problem last year or in the past. TDS
