Dear Madam Secretary,
Regarding your notice to confirm Paul Mendonca as Chairman of the G.O.A. (U.K.) Ltd.
As a Life Member, I advise you, as a point of order - there is no provision to elect or confirm the position of Chairman. The functions and responsibilities, of Directors ,Section Secretaries and Section Committees, makes no provision for a Chairman. In effect, the post of Chairman is held by the President of the G.O.A (U.K.) Ltd, as per the Constitution of the Association. Furthermore, the President shall chair all meetings, unless he is absent.
I would further advise you, that at the A.G.M. itself, the agenda cannot be changed to accommodate you - 21 days notice is required.
Kindly advise members accordingly. Clearly, again I have to show the complete incompetence of the Present Board of Directors.
