So, watch your own back, and leave the defense of the Afghans, the Iraqis and Sudanese to the Americans, the Brits and the Australians. For once I would like you, Mervyn, Ronald, Santosh and any others who so stridently oppose every US action on every possible flimsy pretense, to make some comments about the previous plight of the Afghans under the Taliban, especially Afghan women and girls, the plight of the Shia and the Kurds under Saddam Hussein, and the plight of the Sudanese being brutalized by the Janjaweed. What in heaven's name do you guys think life was like for the victims of these tyrants, whose deposition by the American-led coalition you so stridently oppose. Do you know a single victim of Saddam, as I do?
