Tim de Mello and someone who hides under the name Goenkarboy are having a great old time ridiculing US companies Coca Cola and McDonalds in response to my post which described India as having surged to be the world's 4th largest economy. Thus they caught the bull by the tail and missed the point of the post. I doubt these guys live in any of the top 4 economies in the world, which is probably what drives their envy, nor do they know that the average life span in the US has been steadily rising in spite of the obesity that comes from its affluence, and yes, from Coke and Big Macs.
Here are the stats again of the world's largest economies by GDP. The US accounts for 21.1 per cent of the world gross domestic product, China 12.6, Japan 7, India 5.7, Germany 4.5, France 3.2, UK 3.2, Italy 3, Brazil 2.8, Canada 1.9, Spain 1.8 and Mexico 1.8
