Just two small admin points --
It would be nice if every poster to Goanet could sign their posts with their location (even address and phonenumber, if you're not too privacy conscious!). This is only a request; I'm sure it would help for better networking among the various posters, on-list and off.
Secondly, if you post in non-plaintext format, then your post could (i) get rejected, and not make it to Goanet (ii) make it to Goanet after a delay... and a lot of grumble, grumble, grumble on the admin's side. Depending on how busy/sleepy/hassled we're feeling, you might get a cryptic note saying something like "Thank you for posting, Goanet doesn't accept non-plaintext posts."
What this means is that while we may well have no objection to *what* you're saying, we do have a problem with the format (non-text) in which your posting. Rediffmail.com is particularly problematic when it comes to wanting to post in plain-text. AOL and other ISPs (internet service providers) give an option. Admin member Bosco D'Mello -- somewhere between Mumbai and Toronto -- is the expert on this, and you can get tech help from [EMAIL PROTECTED]
If your post gets rejected, it might get reformatted and re-posted. Or it might not. So if you repost, please check whether it has subsequently gone through to avoid duplications.
