While we are on this subject I would like to draw Goanetters' attention to another mobile facility viz mobile ATMs started by a leading public sector bank on an experimental basis (since August 2004) in North Goa. I myself have seen this vehicle parked in the Miramar beach area one evening. A side panel is raised to provide access to the ATM proper. Is this service useful? The same bank has placed an ATM on a ferry in Kerala. The bank's aim is to spread this system to other places in the country as and when it refines it in Goa. Any feedback on this innovation would also be appreciated.
