Avelino Bastora/Kuwait ________________ NEW PATTO BRIDGE SINKS BY MORE THAN 3 INCHES, CLOSED: The new parallel Patto bridge which was constructed at a cost of Rs.6.36 core has been closed since January 10 night as precautionary measure after a small part of it sank with vehicular movement. The mud filling near the joint of the bridge along the river and on the city side had been showing signs of settlement for several days. (GT)
