The Ribandar issue is getting complicated by the day. We have heard claims, counter claims and rebuttal by individuals on this forum. Some have faces others don't.
There are few who believe they can judge and condemn the accused on this forum. The impression we get is that the victim and the mother are not very keen in pursuing the case any further. The police and church have their own concern in the case. The victim's uncle is propped by individuals who are adamant of having the final say. Lot of dirty linen has been washed in public. The people of Ribandar should get together and look at the possibility of apology from accused and forgiveness from the victim. The obsession with the case has no benefits. In the end it robs one of everything. The joy of forgiving is ten folds. Is it too much to ask from fellow Goans? Avelino Bastora/Kuwait
