--------------------------------------- FIR against LPG distributor ------------------------------- The Department of Civil Supplies has filed a FIR against a LPG distributor in Siolim on the charge of failing to show the record of 111 filled LPG cylinders when flying squad raided his office premises last week.
Talking to Herald on Monday, the Director of Civil Supplies N B Narvekar informed that when the raid was conducted by the Assistant Director Ashutosh Apte distributor Rajendra Dangi failed to trace 111 filled cylinders that he had taken possession from the company.
Following unearthing of the discrepancy during raid which was conducted under the supervision of the director, the department filed a FIR against the distributor at Anjuna Police Station. ---------------------------------- HERALD 25/01/2005 page 3 -----------------------------------
