Attention BSNL Pay Phone Franchisees Revision of tariffs for calls made from Local PCOs including CCB Type PCOs
Consequent on the revision of tariff for calls made from Local PCOs
including CCB Type PCOs
(Both departmental & Franchisee) the following tariff is applicable

Calls to Basic Services Calls to Mobile Services
(including WLL (Fixed)/ Cellular Mobile Telephone
WLL Service / Universal

Particulars 95 level (Limited Mobile) Access Service Provider
with levels 92, 93, 94, 98 etc.

All short Distance Charging Areas irrespective of having Point of
interconnection & non Point of Interconnection with Cellular Mobile /
Universal Access Service Providers.

Departmental PCOs, including CCB Type PCOs, Attended / Barred 120 sec. pulse 120 sec. pulse Manned, Franchisee within SDCA within circle PCOs. Local PCOs etc.
(SDCA Short Distance Charging Area) --------------------------------------------------------------- The salient features of the above proposal are as under:
1. Rate per unit call shall be Rs. 2/- (from existing Rs 1/-)
2. The commission will be @ Rs. 0.50 per unit call.
3. Intra circle calls terminating upto 50 kms distance continue to be
allowed on 91X with 120 second pulse.
4. The changes will apply to Local PCOs (Except CCB PCOs) where
the date of implementation is 01-04-2005 or earlier.
5. All local calls including calls to Cellular/UASP will be allowed at
Re 1/- with existing pulse of 90 secs. and commission
@ 0.40 paise till required changes are carried out by
the - Franchisees.
6. The CCBs PCOs are required to be modified for accepting
two one rupee coins with pulse of 120 secs.
7. One coin of Rs 2/- cannot be used.
8. The tariff is applicable from 1.1.2005.
9. CCB PCOs at non-point Inter connectivity location can provide
access to mobile services only after carrying out necessary
changes.
10. Necessary changes will have to be done by the pay phone
franchisees.For any queries the franchisees may contact the JTO/SDE or DE of their area.
