KUWAIT TIATRISTANCHI SONSTHA (KGTS) WELCOMES ITS SPECIAL GUEST ARTISTES FROM GOA:
A large contingent of KGTS members warmly welcomed its special guest artistes at the Kuwait International Airport:
* Comedian John D'Silva
* Meena Leitao; and
* Menino Mario.
who have been specially flown in from Goa for the 2nd annual musical show titled "Konknni Machiek Noman" organized by KGTS in association with G.W.S.
This musical show will be held on Friday, 4th February 2005 at the Gulf English School Auditorium, Rumeithiya.
Accompanying the guest artistes on this evening's direct Goa-Kuwait Indian Airlines flight were the KGTS delegation including:
- KGTS founder member, Marcus Vaz,
- KGTS member Manuel de Santa Cruz; and
- KGTS member Comedian Philip Pereira.
Last Wednesday, Agnelo Dias - Goa's ace trumpeter - arrived to commence rehearsals. He was accorded a warm reception by the KGTS delegation.
Goa's Nightingale Miss Lorna together with Comedian Dominic, John D'Silva, Luis Bachan, Francis de Tuem, Menino Mario, Meena & Sabina, and also Kuwait-based Konkani playback singer ADOLF (of Bhuientlo Munis fame) are all set to entertain you with professional & talented Konkani stage artistes based in Kuwait.
KGTS is the largest and the only Goan tiatrists faternity association in the Gulf region.
