Dear Ex- students of SFX High School, Mapusa
St. Francis Xavier High School, Mapusa, Goa founded in June 1937 is managed by the Mission Sisters of Ajmer. The aim of this institution is to equip the girl - child with an all-round development , so that she can meet life's challenges once it is out of school. Since its inception, hundreds of students have successfully passed out of this institution and are well-settled in life. This tells us that our sacrifices to give our students the best have not been entirely in vain, and so, we too feel a sense of fulfilment that we have been doing something worthy with our own lives.
In the new millennium, we have decided to renew our own commitment for the cause of the girl-child and with renewed zeal are re-dedicating ourselves for this noble cause. However, this is not an easy task, and requires the much-needed backing of society: to begin with, we thought of approaching our own ex-students as we decided to form The EX-STUDENTS ASSOCIATION. Our first meeting is on 19th February, 2005 at 4.00p.m. We sincerely wish to meet our ex- students as we are eager to renew our ties with you -- in the words of the popular song: 'Can old acquaintance be forgotten?' We are looking forward to seeing you - if you do come, then it will prove that you do have fond and grateful memories of your Alma Mater - your presence will surely motivate us to carry on the work that we do here.
