<If Manohar Parrikar was a REAL dictator, such as Fidel Castro of Cuba or the Saudi Kings, then how come Parrikar was removed from power so easily, without any conflict or bloodshed? How many governments have come and gone in Goa, without any conflict or bloodshed? And you still se no difference between a democracy and a dictatorship?
REAL dictatorships have all the faults that you may see in a democracy, but in a dictatorship there is no competing opposition, no freedom of speech and assembly, and no recourse to an independent legal system.
Yet, you continue to see no difference?>
Dear Mr. Goveia,
1. I am not so certain that Mr. Parrikar has been really removed from power.
2. If he has - it has NOT been done as per the will of the people (i.e. via election)
3. In effect, he went (even if temporarily ) the way he came - via a coup.
BUT that is not what is the focus of this discussion - is it
Your quest - according to your previous post was to ascertain IF there was " any government abuse and censorship" in the free expression of views - in ALL the "democracies in which you have lived"
You were (should I say invited to ) research the answers to the following queries about Goa, and extrapolate them to any other alleged democracies that you might know about
here once again are the queries. I await your learned input
