Tomorrow we begin Lent. This was a time when we had no celebrations, in the form of dances, or parties in Nairobi, Kenya. Is this also true of Goa? Or have Catholic Goans in Goa joined the likes of our Catholic Goans in the U.K. who put Lent aside and the Catholic Church's accepted norms; following only those tenets which can accommodate them! Oh, I am not taking the high moral ground, just mentioning this as the same people have questioned my catholicism.
