Thanks for reverting to the old style! In fact thanks to the entire Goanet Admin team for listening to all the views.
I did address my original mail to Herman, citing my displeasure, but there never was any intent on any personal attack or rancour. I know that some fellow Goanetters went a little overboard with the kind of criticism.
As always, it is a pleasure to be on Goanet.

We at Goanet Admin are more than ready to admit when we make an error in judgement. Your feedback showed us what the true feelings were. Some of you put in a very strong case why the email identities should be retained.
We, at the Goanet-Admin Team, feel our decision was not suitable. Hence, the roll-back.
Kindly note that we do need your feedback and help is essential in guiding up while taking decisions that are good for Goanet and its members. Even if it may seem that we are slow in taking decisions (the price to be paid for consulting before deciding, across three continents).
We are looking out for other solutions to the problem of spam and illegal email harvesting of addresses. Do stay in touch. FN
