RESPONSE: It more than amply clear that the BJP having lost their majority and the mandate to Govern, were unashamedly trying to cling to power, by any means available to them including the debarring of Neri. Furthermore, it is is clear to all but the BJP and their supporters that Neri was an Independent. This piece of information was public knowledge. Many instances of his status as an independent, were quoted in the press. If this was not the case, the BJP should have made it clear and enlightened the public by declaring that Neri did belong to the BJP party. The sham that is taking place now, under the auspices of the BJP heirarchy is nothing short of disgraceful and drowning men clinging to straws. The person responsible for forging Neri's signature should be thrown into Fort Aguada jail and the keys should be thrown into the Arabian sea. Furthermore the Speaker should be hung, quartered and drawn. Perhaps it would be in the interests of Goa and the Goan people if Goa was ruled from Delhi. cheers, Gabe Menezes. Wimbledon, England.
