Dear Ms. Dias, Respectfully, I inform you that you are getting into a muddle. If you now try to date the Bible and take everything literally you will get into more than a little bit of flux. The earliest fossil found, of perhaps present day man is around 3.5 million years old. There were two found one named 'Lucy' and the other then Kenya one. I watched a programme just last night on the origins of man. Before this evolution was still taking place and it could be that our ancestors were still living in trees. The beginnings of man is when the tree dwellers started to walk upright. It is not even clear from which branch man has evolved. Perhaps we may never know. All that is in contention here is that there was no man and no Thalassemia, 15 million years ago. If you contend that you stand by your statement, you have to quote precedence and facts. Really no need to bring the Bible into this discussion. -- Cheers, Gabe Menezes.
