Many thanks for your very helpful suggestions. However, please note that I was not reporting a study which would have necessitated balance if conclusions were being presented. I was merely drawing on a stock of recorded excerpts which highlighted the existence of caste, in order to make a specific point. Of course, it is common knowledge in Goa and in the Goan Diaspora that casteism exists and is very real among Catholic Goans. However, at least one skeptic needed/wanted persuasive evidence. My piece was also weighty for the simple reason that a knockout blow was needed. I really was becoming weary of endless bitty question and answer posts which were merely going round and round in circles on the issue in question.
