Many thanks for your reply. I am not sure I could agree with you that, because in this debate, no one has presented the pros of caste (for whatever reason) the cons become "weightless". To me, this is very strange logic. Likewise, nobody significant raised the pros of apartheid when the anti-apartheid movement gathered full steam and then toppled it because it was recognised world-wide as an absolute racist evil.
I was really hopeful that you would have found some pros as you raised the issue in the first place. However, never mind, I will be pursuing the case of casteism aka brown on brown racism with the Vatican and send articles to quality Catholic journals and newspapers globally. External pressures on the Archbishop of Goa through naming and shaming could be effective as a wake up call on the Church's effective caste accommodation of an utter evil and that is my hope. In terms of courtesy, I would, of course, send copies of my critical materials to the Archbishop.
