(Nasci Caldeira: I challenge u to come up with some comprehensive piece of writing to say that I am wrong on this. It has to be backed by statistics or plain simple reasoning. Remember, everything is 'comparative' in reasoning; and also do not compare with other countries or states etc. talk only of Goa. OK?)

I ask you, Mr Caldeira, what statistics or "plain simple reasoning" do you have in support of your original claim?

I quote you: "In India the e-mail system and cyber space availability is still only available with a few rich."

Please note that you talk of India, but you want me to restrict my reply to Goa.

Even in the case of Goa, you are way off the mark, Mr Caldeira. When I said you were wrong, I was simply stating the obvious. Anyone who has a nodding acquaintance with the present-day India/Goa will vouch for it.

You came on a brief junket, saw someone going out to check his e-mail and assumed that in Goa/India those who have PCs at home don't use it for e-mail; they always do it from cybercafes only! You saw a computer wrapped in polythene sheet and you again assumed that most people in Goa keep their PCs wrapped in "plastic bags" as showpieces!

One swallow does not a summer make, Mr Caldeira! Those are your assumptions, not facts. I challenge you to prove me wrong with statistics!

Cheers, RKN
