As I've said before give me Scotch, Beer and Caju any
day, and you can keep the urine, whether Auto or not.Eddie writes:
There are two programmes being shown in the UK thisSunday (20 March) on BBC4.
1. Sun 20 Mar. 21:00 (50 mins). Hindu Nation. MarkTully reports on the collapse of secularism in India and the flourishing Hindu nationalism, accompanied by intolerance and even violence, which is threatening the traditional values of the world's largest democracy.
Mario replies: Hey, Eddie, you can't believe everything you see on the BBC, which has become a bastion of left wing propaganda. They have a reputation for making up stuff and twisting the truth. For example, there is no collapse of Hindu secularism and no flourishing Hindu nationalism. Just the opposite. The extreme Hindu nationalists have always been around and have always been a fringe element. The BJP tried to bring them into the mainstream and lost the last national elections and several state elections big time because Indians rejected their extreme brand of Hindu nationalism. Secularism is alive and well in India, regardless of the propaganda from the BBC.Eddie continues:
2. Sun 20 Mar. 21:50 (90mins). India - FinalSolution: Storyville. Deadly violence followed the
burning of 59 Hindus on the Sabarmati Express train at
Godhra on 27 February 2002. In retaliation, nearly
1,000 Muslims were murdered. The race hate is fanned
by the BJP party.
Mario replies: Eddie, Eddie, Eddie!!! This is an OLD, OLD, OLD tragedy from 2002, which EVERYONE knows about already. Here we are in 2005. Why is the BBC showing such OLD stuff, AGAIN, and calling it the "Final Solution" which raises bitter memories of the Nazis and THEIR "Final Solution" for the Jews? Are they trying to fan the flames of hatred in India all over again? By the way, just for the record, the 59 Hindus on the train were burned alive by Muslim extremists, which your storyline above conveniently fails to mention.
I wonder what the BBC is up to with showing such provocative stories as if they were relevent or constructive to the healing that is going on. Why don't they do a story about all the militant al Qaeda operatives right there in Britain?
