You seem to be bent on giving "speculation" (as identified by yourself) a bad name! Speculation is not a sin. It is even essential to get on in life. As the saying goes a tortoise cant get anywhere without sticking its neck out! Those who get it right even get praised for their foresight and wisdom! Hey, even you indulged in speculation in this entire exchange while condemning it! In fact I can spot at least 3 items in the present post which amount to speculation on your part. Have fun finding them.:) Btw, I dont understand your anxiety in this Internet age to respond to every post which crosses your path. Why go in for "outs" like "final word", "off to the races" etc. If you dont want to or cant reply, just skip it! Let the other guy(s) "speculate" about the reasons to their hearts content.
