The Hindu: March 16, 2005 BJP to press for recall of Goa, Jharkhand Governors The Bharatiya Janata Party has decided to continue its demand for the recall of the Goa and Jharkhand Governors, S.C. Jamir and Syed Sibtey Razi. The issue was discussed at today's meeting of the BJP parliamentary party, the party spokesperson, V.K. Malhotra, told reporters. "The two Governors were guilty of a fundamental sin, and we should not allow this to be forgotten," he said. At the meeting, chaired by the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, L.K. Advani, it was decided to continue the "demand for recall of the two Governors, both inside Parliament and outside," Mr. Malhotra said.
