When was the last time a Goa CM took any interest in Dabolim airport? Sure we have had some press statements by the ex-Tourism Minister and the South Goa MP. And some people even swear by the Rajya Sabha (?) MP. But their information base seems woefully lacking and their public posturing does not inspire any confidence. Due to this vacuum the Navy gets a virtually free hand at Dabolim and the Goan economy and society suffer.
