It is clear, for now, that the discussion on caste among Catholic Goans, is coming to an end on Goanet. The discussion has had a fair run.
However, I'd like to make two points to you:
Firstly, your search for any serious PROS re this theme have come to nought because, I have to tell you that, caste/casteism is nothing but a fraud and the biggest con around. Nobody can provide you or Goanet contributors any "pros" for Catholic Goan casteism today because there are non which would survive intelligent scrutiny.
Secondly, it is clear that the few brave or foolhardy souls, as listed by Mario, who tried to defend caste among Catholic Goans by attacking the anti-casteists have been incredibly lightweight in their claims and have been unable to answer even the few questions repeatedly asked of them. They have said absolutely nothing of substance compared to the infinitely more heavy-weight anti-casteists in their well thought out claims. Indeed, your own arguments (on being "weightless"; with religious mindsets etc) were not lightweight really but featherweight in every respect. It was really embarrassing to read your posts and that, you know not that they are illogical, vacuous and not terribly literate.
