You have done an excellent work bringing in well documented article. I was very sad to learn so many things which which I did not expect. At least things were attempted but tragic thing was that things did not turn out as expected by majority of the NRIs. The communication was not enough and ideas were not clear. Had the NRI cell remained to its original status as initiated by its founder, things would have been different. NRIs require a Strong and dynamic and reliable leader. Even today NRI cell can do a good job provided it is run by people of non political affiliation and strong Ideologies. we not have any visionary or are we infighting? Can Goans think differently and come out with solution? Vast majority of Goan NRIs are willing to help development of Goa by contributing to various projects but the current political trend drives away the investors. The only solution for Goa is not to involve any political parties wherever NRI issues are involved.
