In addition to continuing his usual abuse against me, Mario Goveia is now trying to desperately protect what is left of his honor and honesty. He has now admitted to calling us defenders of AIDS-infected drug users, after issuing a high and mighty challenge to others to show him where exactly he had done so, in his previous post. But please note that he still does not have the simple common decency of apologizing to us. Now he issues a new challenge by deviously and ever so slightly altering my original charge against him. I have answered part of this challenge as well in my response to his prior challenge. It is true that in one post he called us "AIDS-infected drug users on Goanet". The rest of the stuff that Mario Goveia has spouted in his last post is pure garbage, which has no bearing on anything I have written. All my responses to Gabriel, Viviana, and Mario Goveia were simply to voice my objections to the unnecessary alarmism and defensiveness stemming from an urban legend, and also to report on some facts related to the issue. Further, in the rest of his last post Mario Goveia has spun a new yarn, deliberately distorting my responses in a pathetic attempt to cover up his disgraceful behavior in this forum. Gabriel merely posted some Australian websites outlining some precautions to be taken by health care workers. I have certainly disputed an exaggerated, spurious claim by Mario Goveia that the threat faced by ordinary people in public places is a small step away from that faced by doctors and nurses in hospitals and clinics. > > 4. Please let us know if Mario Goveia is justified in attacking us by calling us "staunch defenders of AIDS-infected drug users", "staunch defenders of AIDS-infected sex predators", and "AIDS-infected drug users on Goanet".
