The life membership fee of BSG is currently Rs.1000/- for individuals and Rs.5000/- for institutions. However, money is not what we seek: we love your participation in keeping Goa green by greening your own patch of land and helping to keep public property like roadside trees and forests in good health. BSG IS NOT AN ADVOCACY GROUP. You will rarely find it amidst protests.It is there to inform and advise the authorities on the truth and the science about issues. There are sufficient number of advocacy groups in Goa and individual members of BSG are free to join them. this is not an exclusive club. In the Konkan Fruit Fest, BSG is the facilitator. A major role is played by the fruit growers and processors, Self help Groups [SHGs], ICAR-Goa, the Directorate of Agriculture, Department of Science & Technology , Western Ghat Kokum Foundation, BSG affiliated Schools and Colleges.
