Arjun (or Ricardo?):

The issue of color and its sociological impact is not unrelated and distinct 
from the issue of
culture.  In trying to understand race and injustice, we need to also consider 
it impact from the
dominant culture, in this case Europe.  Europe has kept most of the highest 
Catholic honors to
itself - popes & saints.  Instead of making excuses for them, why not 
acknowledge that fact?  In
trying to "be just a human being" I acknowledge facts, then fight or justice on 
those issues which
I can given my limited time, resources and other obligations.
