Carlos, Hope somebody has told you that Panjimites do not see speeding vehicles on the 4-lane roads today, but mountains of mud dug out from the roads to get at the chocked storm water drains which was the IFFI works as well as the natural concave speed breakers, nay axel breakers of vehicles should they not know that there are depressions in the seeming speedable smooth roads. At times, they could even break some weak backs.
And ofcourse, I was anti IFFI all the while. Therefore I cannot see Cannes in Panjim. floriano ----- Original Message ----- From: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Monday, May 02, 2005 10:22 AM Subject: [Goanet]A promenade that attracts-Panjim > A promenade that attracts - Anil Sastry > http://www.hindu.com/2005/05/02/stories/2005050204092000.htm > > PANAJI: It was conceptualised to carpet the capital city of this > "Paradise on the Earth" a-la Cannes on the eve of the 35th > International Film Festival of India (IFFI) — Goa.
