Dear Phil, I have lived in Singapore for 7 Years. The Singaporeans dared not to complain - it was under Lee Kwan Yew, at that time and what he said was written in stone! The Goans (Except for Wendell and our fiery Journalist who shoots first and then asks questions - she has got more *alls than some of us) seem to be in the mould and making of Singaporeans. Afraid to speak up. Even today, although Singaporeans are enjoying a high standard of living, they question not their Government. Our Goans are happy and content it seems with their plate full of rice and curry and parra or miskut. No one wants to come forward and finger the perpetrators for vandalising street signs in Panjim.....like the monkeys - see no evil, speak no evil hear no evil. -- Cheers, Gabe Menezes.
