Wendell is an international name he must have had a strong financial backing and today he stands above the rest, but there are so many who would want to be in wendell's shoes, or remo's ,or ala hema sardessai, there are so many intelligent goan youngsters who have a great talent and can make it big but not by being in Goa no way, so they move overseas not only for their benefit but they want to make a living for themselves,family and parents. The best of goan brains are settled abroad. Many Goans who contribute to the goanet are well settled abroad.
Let's not get too emotional with the wendell's article no doubt there is 100% truth but who will take an initiative in improving the and moving ahead, we have read so many articles but we have always remained as followers not leaders and its time to be leaders , otherwise it would be useless to just write.Everyone passes on the buck but where is the initiative??? Who goes to rural areas to tap the talents??
