The Saleint Online scam is one of the biggest scams one has ever heard about and the way the Goa Police Department is handling the case, gives a doubt that they are hand in gloves to cheat the thousands of innocent investors. Isn't it ridiculous to send the police team to Chennai without the search warrant, it appears that they were sent to Chennai for a holiday when thousand of investors are down in the dumps, wondering whether they shall get their hard earned money back or not. The investors are in a state of dilemma as to whether the police will really be able to arrest the absconding accused. What is the Goa Police doing who are suppose to be the protectors of the citizens, are they up to some mischief? It is a pity Goans get attracted to such weird finance and employment schemes as our Goa government cannot offer jobs to the youth. Though it was a quick rich scheme, it was good for the youth and housewives to make an extra buck.. Is it a crime to make some money for yourself ? I personally feel that there was risk involved in this job, but many made some quick money for themselves, as they ( Salient) did pay their investors. till such time that the wife of a senior IPS officer played a spoilt sport with her sneaky behavior and only thought of amassing wealth for herself by asking to settle her dues first, despite knowing that thousand other investors would lose. This woman was seen in the office along with some others and that was the end of the story. They pushed the accused to such a corner where they were left with no other option but to flee Goa, and that too with the blessings of the police. The company was registered and it was the duty of the Registrar to check its authenticity and verify the genuineness of the operation. Was the Registrar ignorant of all this ? If so, then he should be packed home as he is not fit to be in the seat of a Registrar. The cops have utterly failed in their search. The DIG Chander should be suspended as he is not in the position to nap the culprits till date. He seems to be fooling vulnerable goans who have invested their hard earned money, saying that the cons were interrogated by him, this is sheer nonsense as he also says there were no formal complaints, then why did he interrogate them ? Had it to do anything personal so that he could get his money and dupe Goans and allow the cons to disappear in the thin air? Was it not his duty to caution Goans about these cons, if he already knew about them ? It appears that these cons had political patronage and the cops should be pulled up for this. It is very difficult to believe that even after 5-6 days, the DIG Chander cannot locate the cons ? This clearly shows that he is playing up with the emotion of the Goans and we are fools to allow them to walk over us. We have some of our top police officers like our SUPER COP - Allen De Sa, Dy Sp who are outstanding and brilliant in their job and we need officers like him in the place of DIG Chander. If Mr. Parrikar was in power today, he would have definitely brought the culprits using his intelligence and relieved the young Goans of their tension.
