Anyone reading the following post by Gabe, spouting the left-wing Guardian newspaper of the UK, would think that Uzbekistan is a colony of the US. Troops in Uzbekistan putting down an uprising is being blamed on the US. This is the level of illogical and preposterous discourse that our friend Gabe is now becoming famous for.
This is the same Gabe, who takes every opportunity to castigate the US for actually liberating Afghanistan and Iraq, twisting the facts into pretzels in his puerile attempts to do so. The best part is that Gabe lives in democratic Britain, while castigating the US for attempting to spread freedom and democracy to countries that do not have it yet. So freedom and democracy is fine for Gabe, but not for those who are currently living under brutal dictatorships. --- Gabe Menezes <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: http://observer.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,6903,1484251,00.html > Anger as US backs brutal regime > > Human rights concerns as troops put down uprising in > Uzbekistan > > Nick Paton Walsh in Moscow and Paul Harris in New > York > Sunday May 15, 2005 > The Observer >
