Dear Dr.Santosh Helekar, My answer has been that homosexuality is abnormal, whether you call it a sickness or not. The moral issue is that homosexuality cannot be accepted as normal behaviour, with all its consequences, but the homosexual deserves all love and compassion. If a patient is proved to suffer from cancer, the physician will say that he is ill and suffers from cancer. I say that a homosexual has a problem, this problem has to be tackled in the best way individually. It is a moral problem objectively, whether the American Psychiatric Association calls it a sickness or not... In this line of thought I stated that we cannot dance to the tune of the scientists... You are free to accept my opinion or not... I am also free to accept the opinion of the American Psychiatric Association. or not...
