I disagree. I think Gilbert deserves all the credit he gives himself.
Gilbert Lawrence has singularly proven that: - The Inquisition did not take place in Goa. - There is no caste discrimination of any sorts in Goa - There are no paedophile/homosexual Catholic priests etc etc.
Besides he has also written and self-published a book on Goa. It is not an easy task for someone who has to sift through so many Goa related books and sites and compile other people's writing into a new book.
We need people like Gilbert around to bring us back to the reality of armchair analysis and lengthy logical dichotomy. Please do not deny Gilbert the credit he gives himself.
