I find Gilbert's anti-catholic bias very disturbing. Is he implying that abuse does not occur outside the catholic church? Why is he picking on the so called abusive priests and the alleged cover up by the church?
Every god fearing catholic knows that satan devotes special attention to the most devout. Clearly, some priests are more vunerable to satan's attacks and temptations, and the resulting abuse should therefore be excused - at least that is what many of my catholic relatives tell me. But then again, god Jesus himself apparently lost his cool and physically assaulted the vendors who were trying to make a living at the Jerusalem temple (Mark 11:15).
