RESPONSE: There is no smugness on my part. Although I am brown skinned and of Goan origin, I was born in Nairobi, Kenya. I attended a Catholic Mission, school where 99 percent of the pupils where Catholic Goans. Our curriculum did not encompass other religions - I would say I was sheltered from learning about other Religions or other practices such as Hinduism. I guess, I shouldn't have asked - the response was there but with an uncalled for caveat. cheers. Gabe Menezes. London England.
