74.20 percent students pass HSSC exams

Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Exams today announced the results 
of HSSC exams conducted in March/April 2005 at 13 centres in the state.

Of the 11169 candidates appeared for the exams in the whole category, 8287 
candidates have been declared successful, giving a pass percentage of 74.20 %.

Last date for applying for photocopies: June 16, 2005 @ Rs 250/-

Last date for verification in absentia/presentia: July 4, 2005 @ Rs 75/- and 
Rs 350 respectively.

Results are available on the following websites: www.goaeduboard.org , 
www.goaresults.nic.in

The students in distress may contact the help line on phone No. 2731371 for 
counseling and guidance. However, no information about results will be 
available on this phone.

The reasons for keeping the results  in reserve are stated in the consolidated 
result sheets of the schools.

The students failing in one subject may appear for the supplementary 
examination to be conducted by the Goa Board in practical on July 9, 2005 and 
theory exam on July 17, 2005.

The last date for submission of application is June 16, 2005.

The last date of submission of forms with late fees is June 20, 2005.

The last date to receive time bared applications is June 24, 2005. students 
should contact the heads of the institute for further details states the press 
note issued by the board.
