Dear Melinda and Cecil:

While it is no secret that heaven is really Goa, there is another angle to the
story. Just this
morning I was at the Northern Pearly Gates (Maharashtra/Goa border) and there
was some confusion
with the so-called 'bhaile' trying to get into heaven so they could catch an
international flight
and leave. St. Peter, not wanting to start a language agitation spoke in fluent
Konkani, and told
them that Mopa was not ready and they would have to wait to get in. At the
Southern Pearly Gates
(Karnataka/Goa border) a number of people were jostling to get in, this time to
catch a flight
from Dabolim. Even more confusion here as there was no clarity on when the
Navy were allowing
flights in and out. On top of that the new airlines and new fare structures,
including the charter
component, made it all quite confusing.

So while it is true that people clamour to make it to heaven (Goa), it is not
true they all want
to stay there.

So now you know the truth.

Regards,
George
