Cecil my dear,Kindly check out the authenticity of what you write, especially when you are
talking of Moira.

Cecil:
How true. I have to double cross check anything relating to Moira.

Floriano:
You must first try to differentiate what is a major road and what is a main
road.

Cecil:
My apologies for a typo in my previous e-mail. I substituted major for minor and it did cause some confusion. But I think everybody got the point that speedbreakers have to erected on minor roads leading to major roads and not the other way around.

Floriano:
For your kind info back breaking speed breakers and rumblers are in
existence on National Highways . Your theory, if acceptable, should be
tried out on N. Highways.

Cecil:
That they are in existence does not make them right. To the best of my knowledge, it is not only illogical but also illegal to have speedbreakers on National Highways. For example the few rumble strips that have been erected at Verna are as a knee jerk reaction to people's shock at a few gruesome accidents that occurred there within a short span. The way to minimise accidents is by proper traffic management, road planning, vigilance and education. Not just erecting speedbreakers on roads.

For example Floriano, if you are going to Mapusa there is a speedbreaker on the Aldona-Mapusa road before and after the Highway intersection - not on the Highway. This makes sense. The speedbreakers in Moira don't make any sense. They should have been erected on the internal roads

Floriano:
Most of you Aldonkar have forgotten that the Moira people are Mad.

Cecil:
Maybe we did. But now that you remind me...

Floriano:
Take note specially while you guy throw your, unwanted by Moidekars, house hold
garbage, nicely packed in plastic bags adorning the conspicuous road
stretches of Moira, lest the same be sprinkled into your nice and expensive
cars and your heads as well. This should ring a WARNING BELL. Ignore it at
your own risk!!!

Cecil:
Sorry Floriano, you've lost me there. Are you suggesting that Aldonkars are throwing their garbage in Moira? Please make sure you have your facts right. It might be those faceless people from Nachinola. Or maybe those dastardly Bicholkars who are now using the Corjuem bridge as a shortcut to Mapusa.

Cheers!

Cecil
P.S.
Please note that Floriano is a man I respect and consider a friend. All this is just friendly banter. I think a little Aldona-Moira skirmish is far preferable to the Canada-USA war that is going on at GoaNet and boring most everyone to death.
