As I have said before, Santosh is fastidious about the truth, as he sees it, not necessarily about the consequences.
However, he has now resorted to selective editing to make a point. To my amazement, what he has cut and pasted as shown below is from the text of the original hoax chain letter, LONG SINCE REPUDIATED, that I had posted on Goanet, which I had obviously not edited and did not know at the time that it was a hoax. What made common sense to me was that it contained a warning that people should watch where they sit in public place. So, whereas the original hoax was wrong in asserting that AIDS infected needles were being left in public places DELIBERATELY to ambush innocent people, it is NOT WRONG to say that such needles have indeed been found in public places, perhaps left there inadvertantly, and so it continues to make sense to warn people, in a chain email if necessary, to look where they sit in a public place. In another post I have provided the URL of the province of Victoria, Australia, which has a section titled Needlestick Injuries, which discusses this potential problem in detail for both medical professionals and other citizens. --- Santosh Helekar <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Mario Goveia wrote: > > > >Hey, Samir.
