It sanctions the use of state terror - ". This is why I found Fred's recommending his opinions to us so disappointing. I was not surprised by how some other left-wingers found such sentiments attractive. After all many Islamo-fascist sympathisers rejoiced on 9/11, after Bali and on 7/7 in London as well.
Tariq Ali would like to divert attention from the state terror that was taking place in both Afghanistan and Iraq, by Muslim tyrants against innocent Muslim civilians, and is trying to propose the preposterous notion that responding by force to terrorists that have "declared war" and sworn to kill innocent civilians will "inflame them even further". Maybe he wants us to believe that they will now shoot us twice instead of just once, or cut off our heads after shooting us. The fact is that they were already doing all of this before 9/11.
