There seems to be something very secretive about all that is going on.
Anyway I do hope that the Navy will relinquish their hold on Dabolim
completely. The best option for them would be to make way for and move to,
near Sea Bird, in Southernmost Goa or Karwar. But if for some reason, they
do not find that feasible, then the second best alternative for the Navy is
to move to Mopa and then use that place as a combined facility for naval and
civilian use! Please release Dabolim for full civilian use as a great
International Airport, that is its potential!

Why does the Navy want to stick to Goa instead of moving to some place
else?
More important, why is the Goa GOVT "flying under the radar" of public
opinion and dealing deviously with the Navy about Mopa and the connecting
highway? What is it afraid of or trying to preempt? Are any goanetters in
the know or do we have to rely on the print media to unearth nuggets from
their junk reports once in a blue moon?
