A 28-year-old Indian woman is suing her parents because she was abandoned soon after she and her twin sister were born, reports The Times of India. Her lawyer says that a separate criminal action Dimple Menezes will file could send her parents to prison for up to seven years. The case, the first of its kind in India, is set down for hearing later this month in the Punjab and Haryana High Court. As well as meeting her biological mother, Ms. Menezes, a computer-science graduate, has met her siblings but doesn't get on with them, especially her twin sister who is "quite opposite in nature to me."
