Hi all,
I am endorsing this view from Gabriel; surely the White Pages and the Yellow Pages should be privatised; a private company to publish all that info, in print as well as on line; and commercial subscribers and sponsors/ advertisers pay towards the costs; however home telephone owners should not have to pay for their phone /address entry in the Directories.

Fred,

I think if the lazy govt depts don't do anything about

should do something.
