The Rules of Goanet are pretty clear; these rules are bent when there is a post on Iraq or USA. These two don't directly impact on Goa/Goans. There is though every chance, that there are Goans who might be working in Iraq and who need to know how the situation, is seen from outside of their own confines. Similarly, some Goans might be put off from migrating to USA under the present regime. On the statement of replying to all and almost every post, My satire on Cecilia captured it; ''There were also one or two, whom she felt, were out to counter every single post. Their very existence was to make their presence felt!'' see:http://www.goanet.org/pipermail/goanet/2005-March/025974.html 'Al Quaeda in Europe' evoked 29 posts,'NEWS UPDATE - another Saddam mass grave found in Iraq' got 23 responses. On the subject of repetitiveness, these posts had 'Neville Chamberlain' mentioned 6 or 7 times! This is according to my Gmail 'search Mail' The excuse being that the same response is warranted to counter every single poster with the same response..... Cheers, Gabe Menezes. London England.
