We do not dispute that each person has a right to his
own opinion. We go so far as to echo the thoughts of
the famous philosoper-statesman who said "I may not
agree with what you say, but I will defend unto death
your right to say it"!
As humans we however find it boring when Mr Colaco
interjects the question of "Liberation/Occupation" at
every opportunity, as if Portuguese Rule was/is the
eternal panacea for the people of Goa! Mr Colaco,
please can we move on to something else, as even in
the law of limitation, the principle of letting
things/events/occurences, rest(doctrine of quiet
repose) is an accepted principle of jurisprudence
whether in the Portuguese, English, Indian,Roman or
any other system that we currently am aware of.
Or is it that Mr Colaco is subconsciously trying to
emulate the Nazi Propaganda Chief Goebels(is the
spelling correct?)who believed that "a lie told a
thousand times becomes the truth"?
We would be glad to be of assistance in any legal way
we can, to adequately treat this "fetish"/"fixation",
subject ofcourse to the caveat, that being timorous by
disposition, we would definitely not want to meet up
on a dark night in a lonely backstreet!
LONG LIVE THE REPUBLIC OF INDIA!
